I grew up in central Pennsylvania, spending a lot of time working on my grandparent’s dairy farm. I graduated from Central Dauphin East High in 1995 and attended Penn State University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Bioscience in 1999. I worked at a local animal clinic for a year after graduation.
I earned my veterinary degree from Purdue University in 2004 and have been practicing small animal medicine ever since. While I enjoy most aspects of veterinary medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry are my favorite. I also enjoy working with and educating clients on ways to help their pets live longer, healthier lives.
I reside in Dillsburg with my husband, 2 kids (a daughter and son), and an Australian Labradoodle named Norman who is my heart dog. When I am not attending school functions, Boy Scout events or field hockey games, I enjoy attending Hershey Bear hockey games, making crafts/scrapbooking, reading, baking and cheering on Penn State.
